Derek (Roderick) Grant has written various books. One,
"Clap hands for the singing molecatcher"
tells of his schooling and childhood in Dunphail. Another,
"Strathalder" a story about a highland estate
between the wars appears to be based on Dunphail estate where his father
was an Under-Keeper.
